Owner : Brady T

Vehicle : ’06 Sierra Vortec 4800.

Story : Not long after Brady took posession of his Sierra, the truck’s shifting manners began annoying him.  His main priority was to straighten out the transmission operation.  While we were at it, we gave it a mild performance tune on 87 octane to spice it up a little further.

Numbers:  Virtual Dyno results show a pick up of 29whp on 87 octane!  Had we decided to rev it out a little further,  it looks there was likely a few extra hp left in there as the hp curve was still climbing at the shift point.

While the truck’s hp curve would just flatline above 4700 rpm on the factory tune, it now continue’s to pull hard all the way to 5600 rpm!

Best of all, the truck now shifts the way Brady felt it should.   Now a trip though the gears puts a smile on his face instead of a frown.
